About Damon Clark

After 10 years in Hi Tech Sales and Marketing, Damon moved full time into a adventure activity business he set up in 1999.  

Amphibia owned and managed over 10 climbing gyms and were one of the leading Duke of Edinburgh suppliers in the UK, which involved providing training and supervising 16-24 years on canoe, bike and hiking expeditions .    

The business thrived until 2013 when he started to lose some large contracts to some smaller new providers.   After some research he discovered that a lack of Inbound Marketing strategy was the problem.  Although new to the industry, the new  providers were ranking very high on online searches.

Damon graduated with a marketing degree but times had changed and Damon needed to learn the new marketing play book. There were plenty of marketing agencies offering to solve the problem, but each agency provided mixed messages with regards to how to fix the problem and costs were high. 

In order to crack mystery behind this 'Dark Art' Damon set upon a journey of discovery, researching interviewing, testing to discover how he could create a competitive advantage.  In 2013 a new Inbound Marketing Strategy was launched.   

Damon now helps marketing agencies and business's grow at HubSpot.  Hubspot provide a leading inbound marketing software platform that helps companies attract visitors, convert leads, and close customers.

Damon Clark's 2015 Hubspot Training Class
