Partnership Terms

Clear terms, straightforward relationship

Our affiliate agreement is designed to be fair and transparent. Here are the highlights you should know.

Independent Contractor

You operate as an independent contractor — you run your own business, set your own schedule, and determine your own methods. Talent Optimizers is focused on results, not hours.

Annual Term, Auto-Renewing

Agreements start with a one-year term and renew automatically each year. Either party can opt out with 30 days' written notice before the renewal date.

No Non-Compete on Existing Work

The non-compete only applies to Talent Optimizers clients. You can keep your existing practice and other client relationships — we understand you have a broader business.

No Employee Benefits or Withholding

As an independent contractor, you receive a 1099 at year-end. All business taxes and expenses are your responsibility. You keep control of how you work.

Confidentiality

You'll have access to proprietary tools, pricing, and client data. We ask that you protect this information with reasonable care throughout and after the partnership.

Commission Clawback on Non-Payment

If a client fails to pay their invoice, you'll be asked to repay the commission on the uncollected amount — but you'll receive it back if the client later pays in full.
