In Q4 2021, I sat in a Personal Development Review at The Predictive Index (PI), excited to discuss my next tour of duty within the company. The conversation of becoming a partner came up. I previously owned a training company in the UK and absolutely loved working with PI partners. With no immediate progression opportunities within PI and an initiative to focus away from their direct clients and towards the partner network, PI offered me a fantastic opportunity to take on a portfolio of direct clients and help start my own company. The offer was too good to turn down, and in January 2022, I launched Talent Optimizers. There was a lot of pressure switching to the partner side, with two years of onboarding, supporting, and consulting the Predictive Index network around growth. Could I talk the talk and walk the walk? I’m relieved to say we managed to bring on 15 new clients. |
How did we do it? Firstly, it wasn't my first rodeo. I had built a successful training company in the UK, but spending two years working with hundreds of PI partners allowed me to understand what truly helped drive success within The Talent Optimization industry. In addition, I received overwhelming support during my transition from The Predictive Index partner community. There are far too many to thank, but the clients I had spent the previous two years training and supporting were generous with their time and helped guide me. Why share our secret sauce? We’ve decided to share some of the specifics of our success in more detail during bi-monthly webinars. Why? During my time at PI, I trained and supported hundreds of PI partners, and since leaving, I have kept in touch with many and have continued to guide growth tactics, software, and running workshops. I’ve been completing this for free because I simply love doing it. I currently have no interest in commercializing this service, but with continued growth in our core business moving forward, we’re going to be running group sessions to be a little more efficient. Secondly, I would like to continue collaborating and sharing resources with select partners. What next? I would like to invite anyone from The Predictive Index partner community to attend the following webinars. The first 30 - 45 minutes will focus on a topic, and the last section will be a standard open office. Please find further information and registration details below. |

I was fortunate to run the first partner-led team discovery workshop for a client back in 2019. Since then, I’ve helped develop the current solution with the product team and run over 100 HP workshops for both partner training and our own clients. During this session, we will discuss potential traps, adapting to your client, and some tips and tricks.
We’ve integrated some great exercises and tools to complement our PI workshops. Including Five Behaviors, Above and Below the line engagement and The Change Curve. We will share and open up a discussion to discuss additional exercises.
PI provides amazing structured workshops, but there are so many variations and additional workshops that can be provided. This includes employee onboarding, succession planning, team 2 team cohesion, managing through change, and much more. We’ll share these resources and open up a discussion for others to share their tips and tricks.
Talent Optimization goes beyond PI. This session focused on complementary solutions that complement PI, for example, 360’s, strategy solutions and software, team and performance tracking software, Five Behaviors, and coaching solutions.
This session focuses on building a 5-year forecast around a PI financial model. Once completed, we will focus on year one, key metrics to track, and tactic prioritization to help achieve your goals.
